Gold Again! Our Italian Pork Meatballs Win at Blas na hÉireann 2025

We’re absolutely thrilled (and still pinching ourselves!) to share that our Italian Pork Meatballs have taken Gold at the 2025 Blas na hÉireann Irish Food Awards. This is the third year in a row that we have won gold for one of our products. In 2023 our grass-fed beef, garlic & black pepper sausages won the top spot, and in 2024 it was our grass-fed beef, garlic & herb sausages.

This year’s win feels especially meaningful. The pork category is one of the most competitive and highly saturated at markets, packed with incredible producers from across Ireland. To come home with gold as a small, regenerative farm producing on a truly craft scale is a huge honour, and a testament to what can happen when you start with exceptional animals, real ingredients, and time-honoured methods.

Our Italian Pork Meatballs are made from our own pasture-raised pigs, blended with sea salt, garlic, chilli and fennel seeds. Every batch is hand rolled with a whole lot of love in our small butchery. They also happen to be free from gluten, egg, dairy and any food additives or preservatives. 

Winning gold in a pork category that is dominated by larger processors and established brands reminds us that there’s still room (and appetite) for authentic, small-scale food rooted in integrity and flavour.
